AVAILABLE IN NATURAL FLAX-FIBER AND BIO-RESIN FOR A SMALLER ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

To achieve toughness and lightweight the P1 is made from Carbon- and Kevlar fiber in a high class Epoxy matrix. Cured in vacuum to get the highest material performance.

The embeded Kevlar layer makes the composite impact resistant and it doesn't break into pieces. It only kinks. This makes it almost indestructable and safe.

The "bio" version of our P1 Pulka is made of flax Fiber which is processed from Flax grass. It has similar performance like glassfiber and additionally excellent damping capability. The Bio-Resin we're using is a Epoxy with 35% plant based content instead of petrochemical derivatives but without compromising the performance.

This green version is the right choice if you want to make a lower impact on the environment. But choose wise. As the Flax fibers perfomance lacks compared to carbon, the sled has to be a bit heavier. Are you willing to pull more weight for the sake of our planet?

The materials we're using are automotive specification and sourced from German or EU supppliers.

Usable with the biggest gloves. The sled comes with Cyberian spec quick-locks and large handle openings.

We pay highest attention on maintainability so your pulka is always a relaible follower: easy to use and easy to repair in the field.

No glue, no rivets - attachement parts are bolt on with stainless steel metrical bolts and selflocking nuts

Strap ends are not sewed. They have endcaps which can be removed with a screwdriver or knife and closed again. So the quicklocks can be exchanged easily if nessessary.

the cover is attached with a circumferential rope that runs in a groove and a stainless steel tensioner.

EXCELLENCE FROM TOP

The cover is made of X-Pac. A high end waterproof laminate which has a very tear resistant ripstop Nylon on the outside and superstrong X-Ply strings as a reinforcement. This fabric is incredibly robust and with 145 g/sqm very light.

It is large dimensioned to provide enough space for your uncompressed sleeping bag, arctic bed or down jackets. The polyester straps are long enough to keep erverything in place even if fully loaded.

Heavy duty YKK two way zippers provide access where you need it and keeping the snow outside.

The P1 glides smooth through different terrain, snow and ice conditions thanks to integrated low friction HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) gliders and the specially designed shape.

The runners are fixed with stainless steel metrical bolts and easy to exchange when worn off.

An abrasion resistant Epoxy gel coat provides additional wear protection at the bottom of our pulka sleds. The high visibility / neon red color provides additional visibility in case of an emergency. Just turn you sled upside down.
